Tickets available for NSW Training Awards

Tickets are now on sale for the annual NSW Training Awards held at Sydney Town Hall on Friday, 16 September.

The awards recognise the achievements of students, trainers, teachers, training organisation and employers.

Jobs and Skills Summit Outcomes

The Government and states and territories agreed to immediate actions at the Jobs & Skills Summit including: 

  • A $1 billion one-year National Skills Agreement that will provide additional funding for fee-free TAFE in 2023, while a longer-term agreement that drives sector reform and supports women’s workforce participation is negotiated.
  • Accelerate the delivery of 465,000 additional fee-free TAFE places, with 180,000 to be delivered next year, and with costs shared with the states and territories on a 50:50 basis.

Training Services NSW in conjunction with the Greater Northern Skills Development Group are holding ‘Best Practice in workforce attraction and retention – employer perspective’ workshop on Wednesday 28th September.
