IBSA

Innovation and Business Skills Australia (IBSA) is one of ten Industry Skills Councils for the Vocational Education and Training (VET) system recognised and funded by the Australian Government. IBSA covers:

  • Business Services;
  • Cultural and Related Industries;
  • Education;
  • Financial Services;
  • Information and Communication Technologies;
  • Printing and Graphic Arts.

IBSA develops competency standards and qualifications for workforce skills development and training that are recognised throughout Australia.

NSW DEC State Training Services

State Training Services now offers a one-stop shop for all apprenticeship and traineeship services and broader vocational education and training advice.

State Training Services provides expert advice and information to industry, employers, training providers and apprentices and trainees. It is responsible for mediation and dispute resolution between apprentices, trainees and their employers and issues certificates to those who successfully complete their training.

The one-stop shop service is designed to ensure industry, training organisations, employers and their employees have all the necessary support and advice to obtain the skills and qualifications their business needs.

AEI-NOOSR

Australian Education International (AEI), through the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (AEI-NOOSR), provides official information and advice on the comparability of overseas qualifications with Australian qualifications. For more information, please click here.
